Record, search, clip and export broadcast content for regulatory and compliance requirements.
More than ever, broadcasters must be able to demonstrate to networks, corporate executives and regulatory agencies that media compliance standards, such as loudness and closed captioning are met and/or exceeded.
The Comply application continuously captures, stores and enables viewing of on-air feeds, thereby offering simultaneous users 24 x 7 access to live and recorded broadcast content from desktop computers or smart devices. An intuitive, streamlined user interface gives authorized users the ability to access, play, pause and search recorded content quickly and with ease.
Benefits of Comply
Quickly and unambiguously respond to compliance requests for decency, closed captioning and loudness.
Content has no off-switch
Comply’s 24 x 7 recording provides broadcasters with an accurate, complete history of aired content and associated metadata.
Easily shared capabilities
Export closed-captioning text and loudness measurements with associated video for proof of performance.
Stay on top of loudness spikes
Our Program Loudness Report (PLR) reflects measurements for all audio tracks associated with a program and identifies exceptions and violations against fixed dialnorm or long-term references.
Choose what offering is perfect for your needs with our modules:
As the amount of produced high-quality content increases, the rising need to retain content for longer periods of time for reuse, and long-term storage has become a challenge. Providing multiple simultaneous users with random access to an indexed store of full-resolution, high-bit-rate (long-GOP H.264, 9-15 Mbps) content, as well as low-resolution proxies, Archiver makes programming, promos and advertisements readily available for use cases, ranging from ad verification to repurposing.
Active directory integration
Active directory integration allows users to log in a single time on the active directory server, thereby eliminating the need for multiple logins across multiple servers. Once logged into the active directory server, the user is logged in with the same credentials set by the administrator. By integrating RPM into the active directory domain, a transparent user login and pre-assigned user privileges are enabled.
Monitoring DVB subtitles, decoding, recording and playback is a task that broadcasters need to ensure proper execution and compliance with regulations. Alerts on missing DVB subtitles ensure full proof of conformance.
Embedded AC3 audio
Eliminates not only the cumbersome and expensive task of extracting AC-3 audio, de-embedding, decoding externally and re-embedding it back as PCM audio, but also the need for additional equipment and cabling. We save time and money by natively processing AC-3 audio without the need for an external AC-3 decoder and re-embedder.
Easily perform loudness tasks, such as monitoring and compliance verification. By adding BS-1770-2, EBU R128 and ATSC A/85 compliant loudness monitoring into the logger, operators now have unparalleled loudness management tools that combine frame-accurate loudness measurement, A/V recording of content, integration with automation/ad system As-Run-Logs (ARLs), loudness reporting and graphing and alarming.
Our Multicast module, either the high-quality original or a lower-resolution proxy version of the live stream, supports confidence monitoring applications, providing executives with remote visibility into the Network Operations Center (NOC) environment. It also supports enterprise-wide IPTV systems, pairing with set-top boxes to enable the scaling of our systems across the enterprise WAN and provisioning of content to a large number of users.
As run log integration
Integrate with an existing automation system with the content verification module. Users can look up logged content according to program name, media ID or other data from the as-run log. Automatic importation of common as-run logs simplifies finding content for ad verification and compliance purposes.
