You can never be too safe. We’re pleased to announce the recent launch of a new feature that enables customers to stream WAF events into Real-Time Log Delivery (RTLD). RTLD WAF delivers log data for threats identified by WAF's access rules and managed rules and is included at no additional cost for customers who have paid for WAF services.

New tech article: Controlling session drift.
When streaming a live event, optimizing the viewing experience while maximizing revenue is a delicate dance. Not only are you faced with delivering streams as close to live-action as possible, but you also have to personalize the advertising within these streams for millions of concurrent users.
One hurdle of delivering live streams and monetizing them with ads is session drift, which is the duration in seconds a viewer’s video falls behind the live content stream when using dynamic ad insertion. Content owners define how far each viewer can ‘drift’ from the live stream. If a viewer drifts past this specified time, the last ad can be dropped, as needed, to quickly return the viewer to the content.
Content owners need to find the sweet spot of allowable session drift and ad durations that produce the best results for their combination of content and ad campaign configurations. Contact us to learn more or to test your service for drift.
