About the CAB

Our mission

Our goal for the Customer Advisory Board (CAB) is to have participants share ways in which they have implemented our platforms and services in current production environments and in R&D-related projects. We in turn will share our current go-to-market plans and future product roadmap.

With your input, we as Verizon Digital Media Services will work to fine tune our future product vision.

Your feedback will directly enable us to build the next generation of our platform to better service you.

We will cover strategic planning, market intelligence, competitive analysis and roadmap input.

Objectives

  • Gather feedback directly from key customers

  • Share industry trends

  • Discuss competitive analysis and best practices

  • Cultivate relationships with point of contacts for key development projects

  • Create feedback loop between product, engineering and customer teams to provide direct influence on our roadmap themes and priorities

  • Convey our product roadmap and strategic vision regularly

  • Understand common needs and requirements across key customers and industry thought leaders

  • Present and review specific forward-looking product designs

Scope

The CAB focus will surround our three core services, listed below, and any new services added to the platform in the future:

  • Video Service – Uplynk Video Streaming

  • CDN Service – Edgecast Content Delivery Network

  • Continent Intelligence Service – Verizon Media Xperience Studio

Participation requirements

  • Active participation in meetings/calls/discussions
  • Detailed input and feedback
  • Potential participation (voluntary and distinct from CAB) in surveys, testimonials, case studies, or other non-public (for internal Verizon Digital Media Services use only) materials about the CAB and promoting the CAB activities within our organization.

CAB membership is voluntary and an 18-month commitment with a reviewed renewal period at the end.
