Gary Binford

Gary Binford has served as the chief financial officer for Verizon Digital Media Services since 2016. He brings more than 18 years of experience as a finance and accounting professional to the position, effectively leveraging an understanding of strategy, operations and organizational behavior to drive profitable business results.

Prior to his current role, Binford was the company’s director of finance. He has held senior level positions at Vantage Media, eHarmony, Pulte Homes and ESPN, also leading finance groups for other companies ranging from $100M to $14B in revenues. He has extensive functional and industry experiences in media & entertainment, motion picture production, distribution, marketing, licensing, SEM, Internet and real estate.

Binford graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Morehouse College and obtained an MBA from Harvard Business School. He is active in the community and has been devoted to the economic empowerment/education of socio-economically challenged groups through organizations such as Junior Achievement and the Academy of Business Leadership. He has also served as vice president of administration for the National Black MBA Association of Los Angeles.
